South Asian Network for Development and Environmental Economics (SANDEE) organized a five-day training course on Introduction to Quantitative Environmental Economics (IQEE) from January 23rd - 27th, 2010 in Pokhara, Nepal. This course was a practical course and was designed for teachers and researchers who want to understand and apply economic tools to valuing environmental goods and services. The course tried to provide a general introduction to environmental economics and to inform students about specific methods and strategies for undertaking valuation exercises.
