SANDEE organized a two-week training course in ‘Research Methods for Environmental Economics,' from 4th - 13th March, 2014. The course was meant for current SANDEE researchers who need to learn different aspects of empirical research in environmental economics in order to complete their research projects.
Objectives
The workshop seeks to provide researchers with the basic skills necessary to
Module 1: How to design a sample, develop a survey instrument, train enumerators and collect survey data (2 days, including half day mock training exercises and half day peer review of researcher questionnaires)
Module 2: Data Management and Basics of Analysis (4 days, including 1 day training on STATA)
Module 3: Literature review, presentation skills and manuscript development (2 days, including one day for re-writing/editing the literature review or manuscript)
