Dasgupta Fellow 2014

Bishnu Prasad Sharma is an associate professor of Economics at Tribhuvan University, Nepal and a Post Doctoral fellow at South Asian Network for Development and Environment Economics (SANDEE). He holds a PhD in Economics from Tribhuvan University on a study on the economic impact of leasehold forestry in Nepal. Within environmental economics, his primary area of interest is forest economics. He is currently working with SANDEE on a forest environmental economics issue of Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+). His is preparing to add several peer-reviewed publication from REDD study to his existing list of publications.
