Environmental and Natural Resource Economics Course Bangkok, Thailand

SANDEE organized a three-week training course in Environmental Economics for Economists, in Bangkok from October 30th to November 16th, 2003. The course was meant for economists interested in upgrading their skills and learning related to Environmental Economics. The course covered economic issues underlying sustainable development, poverty-environment interactions, natural resource use and pollution management. Participants were exposed to basic theoretical issues and economic tools and methodologies for analyzing environmental problems in developing countries. Faculty included experts from within and outside the S. Asia region.
